Rodney C. Scott Scholarships

The Rodney G. Scott Scholarship is provided by the Tacoma (IL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. It is awarded annually to graduating seniors in the Tacoma area who have a passion to learn, a determination to succeed, and an eagerness to earn a college degree. The scholarship funds are designed to supplement some of the student’s extra collegiate expenses, like books and fees.

The application must be completed entirely online through the link, and requires the following qualifications:

Scholarship Qualifications:

• ·Open to graduating and high school seniors ONLY
•  Minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0· Applicant must     submit an official high school transcript
• ACT/SAT test score requirement has been waived this year
• Active participation in extracurricular activities and/or community service programs

Applications must be submitted no later than March 1st, 2023, and scholarship awards will be announced no later than May 15, 2023.
